A chemical peel is a procedure that is used to improve the appearance of the skin.
This is done by the controlled application of chemicals to the skin. Chemical peels come in varying depths and strengths.
A light chemical peel treats the outer layers of the skin, while strong chemical peels penetrate deeper into the skin's surface.
Reduce or improve fine lines and wrinkles, acne, scars, uneven skin coloring and other skin imperfections. Different chemicals determine the depth of your peel and type of skin condition treated.

Chemical peels are used to treat certain skin conditions or to improve your appearance by improving the tone and texture of your skin.
They are most commonly performed on your face, neck or hands. They can help reduce or improve:
Fine lines under your eyes or around your mouth and wrinkling caused by sun damage, aging and hereditary factors,
certain types of acne,
mild scarring, Sun spots, age spots, liver spots, freckles, uneven skin coloring,
precancerous scaly spots called actinic keratosis,
rough skin, scaly patches, dull complexion and
dark patches (melasma).
Other benefits of receiving a chemical peel include stimulating new collagen and healthy skin cell growth, resulting in a radiant complexion.

A chemical peel is solution applied to the face to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new cells. The aim is to improve the appearance of the skin for example, by reducing age spots and evening out skin tone. There are 3 types of peels, called superficial, medium and deep.
Chemical peels work with the help of acids within the peel that raise the acidity of the skin to around a 3.8 pH level. Normally, skin has a pH of around 5.5, and changing the pH level chemically loosens the cells that form the "glue" between dead skin and healthy skin. With that bond chemically loosened, exfoliation occurs as dead skin is removed to reveal healthy skin underneath. This process promotes the growth of new, healthy skin cells.
A single treatment session is going to deliver some great results to the skin including improved skin tone, smoother skin texture, and much more! However, if you do have skin concerns such as sun damage, acne scarring or deeper wrinkles, more sessions may be needed to achieve your desired results.
A thorough consultation is undertaken before ANY treatment takes place.
